True craftsmen and crafswomen are increasingly hard to find. Within Europe, Portugal is a country where manual labour and craftsmenship is still valued and cherished. That is why we have the majority of our garments produced in Portugal.
The fine art of creating a fabric, dyeing, cutting and sewing is essential to BLACK by K&M. Because a long lasting garment starts with quality fabric. We have a long term cooperation with our partners for production who are situated just north of the beautiful city of Porto.
There the fabrics are cut and the garments are sewn. Hand made does not mean that there are no machines involved. But every piece passes human hands. Treating fabric like you treat your garment: with love and care.
