LAB UPDATES

In summer 2022 the first two colonies of bees landed on the rooftops of our shop. By hosting colonies of bees, we support the local biodiversity.  We are proud to host the beehives, which are carefully maintained by the bee keeper team of BIJENBAAS.nl  On top of all, we are rewarded with the best home grown honey. This golden treasure of nature sold out quickly in store.  We can't wait for a new summer to come.

True craftsmen and crafswomen are increasingly hard to find. Within Europe, Portugal is a country where manual labour and craftsmenship is still valued and cherished. That is why we have the majority of our garments produced in Portugal. The fine art of creating a fabric, dyeing, cutting and sewing is essential to BLACK by K&M. Because a long lasting garment starts with quality fabric. We have a long term cooperation with our partners for production who are situated just north of the beautiful city of Porto.
